Our Story

Our story began on the very first day of high school in 2015. Corinne spotted a handsome Italian boy with bright blue eyes and immediately knew she wanted to talk to him. Lucky for her, they ended up having several classes together and quickly became best friends. Between sitting together in class, hanging out with friends, and spending time at youth group, it wasn't long before friendship turned into something more.

On January 2, 2017, neither of us was even old enough to drive, but Tyler wasn't going to let that stop him. While he was at Corinne's house, he secretly recruited one of our youth leaders to pick up flowers. She pulled off the surprise perfectly, and that night, before heading home, Tyler asked Corinne to be his girlfriend.

After dating for three years, life took us in different directions, and we spent about two years apart. We barely kept in touch… until one unexpected video changed everything. Corinne came across an old video of Tyler's dog, Shadow, hilariously slipping on the ice and running straight into a sliding glass door. It was too funny not to send. One text turned into nonstop conversations, which turned into Corinne asking Tyler to grab a drink.

On April 26, 2023, we met up and ended up talking for over five hours—we literally closed the place down. A few days later, after TopGolf with friends, neither of us wanted the night to end, so we sat in a Jewel parking lot talking for another hour. Sometime after midnight (which absolutely mattered), Tyler asked Corinne to be his girlfriend again. Since it was technically after 1:00 a.m., we proudly celebrate May 5, 2023, as the day we started dating again… and this time, forever.

These days you'll usually find us traveling somewhere new, taking walks, catching a movie, playing games, or sitting down for a good meal and an even better conversation (with a margarita or two for Corinne).

The day before Thanksgiving in 2025, Tyler planned an unforgettable date with a helicopter ride followed by dinner. Corinne had already figured out a proposal was coming (Tyler can't keep a secret, and bringing along her best friend—who just so happens to be a photographer—didn't exactly help). The helicopter couldn't fly because of the wind, but it didn't matter. Standing in the freezing cold, in front of a red carpet, a glowing "LOVE" sign, and the helicopter, Tyler asked the easiest question he's ever asked.

Now we're counting down the days until we become husband and wife. We've learned that life doesn't always go according to plan, but we're grateful that God's plan brought us back to each other. We can't wait to see what the future holds, and we're so excited to celebrate the beginning of forever with all of you!
